Bio-HORUS PROX by AdBioTeK is an Access Control Panel specifically developed to connect to proximity readers with Wiegand 26 communication standard or our Bio-IDENT product line of biometric readers.
A person wishing to be allowed «access» must simply put his/her card near the proximity reader (only for proximity readers), or put his/her card near the proximity reader and place the tip of his/her enrolled finger on the Bio-IDENT V reader to have the user fingerprint identified in real time against the entire internal database (templates stored in the reader) and the ID code sent to Bio-HORUS PROX.
Upon receipt of the identified individual’s ID (either by means of a proximity or biometric reading), Bio-HORUS PROX will verify the access permit (time windows, access permit) and then confirm or reject access authorization independently.
